In September 2005 ResearchChannel announced that DigitalWell™ would become generally available as an open source offering under the Apache 2 license.

To manage ongoing development of the DigitalWell™ core in an open source environment, we are introducing an architecture and development framework that we are calling “Trusted Partners”. This is a two tiered framework of an Executive Committee who will review requirements and prioritize the activities of a Technical Development Group.

The teams will meet on a periodic basis at the semi-annual ResearchChannel meeting and as needed via video conference. If you are interested in committing working resources to either of these groups, please contact us.

DigitalWell™ source code will be available to the general community via SourceForge.
